Cathrine Karlsson

 

I grew up on the beautiful Island of Visingsö in Sweden where the poetic surroundings have inspired my art, which expresses dreams, joy and poetry. Curiosity has taken me around the World and several times to the Indonesian Island Bali. Bali is another island which has greatly inspired me with its rich traditions rooted in religion. Dance is also important part of my artistic universe, the dance brought me to India where I stay several months every year and collaborates with Indian artists. The magical and colourful country is now one of my biggest inspirations.
